Atrium Collection
Arizona artist Jason Catlin has his feet in two different worlds. The world of 3D scanning and the ancient world of lost-wax casting. The Atrium Collection, Catlin's second artist collaboration with the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, borrows designs and moments from the Atrium at Taliesin West, which was constructed as part of an expansion of the residence in 1961. "I wanted the light to play with these designs in the same way it plays in the Atrium." The negative space in each piece allows for light to pass through, much like how it would in the glass inlays of the Atrium.
