Sacred Spaces Exhibition Catalog
Artist Andrew Pielage’s photographs of Frank Lloyd Wright’s buildings, temples, churches, and homes reveal how the architect masterfully creates an experience that feels sanctified and sacred. The Sacred Spaces traveling exhibition features more than 30 of Pielage’s images from thirteen Wright projects — both religious and non-religious — each illuminating Wright’s approach to creating Sacred Space and the photographer’s strategies to capture it. Sacred Spaces was organized by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in cooperation with Beth Sholom Preservation, Taliesin Preservation, and the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy.
This catalog is a perfect memento from the exhibit, featuring images, as well as an in-depth look into the purpose, mission, and history of this spectacular showcase.
