Taliesin West Rain Chain #8 Earthtones
These Rain Chains are handmade with love by Teri Welsch of When Life Gives U Rocks in Arizona. She has created a version of her work for the Frank Lloyd Wright Store, using rocks that are similar to those found at Taliesin West.
The glass used for each rain chain is known as Dalle de Verre, a thick stained glass used in most church windows. Each piece has been cut, chipped to create facets, lightly tumbled, and wire wrapped by Teri.
Hang your rain chain inside or outside where you can see it daily and enjoy it for years to come.
The wire used is 18-gauge stainless steel or 16-gauge brass. The glass should handle typical year-round weather and the wire will not rust. Each chain comes with a copper Whirling Arrow fin attached at the bottom.
Please note: These are one of a kind hand made pieces. The one you receive may be slightly different than the pictured product.
Each chain is approximately 5 feet long.
A portion of the proceeds from your purchase will support the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation's mission to preserve Taliesin and Taliesin West for future generations, and inspire society through an understanding and experience of Frank Lloyd Wright's ideas, architecture, and design.
