Darwin D. Martin House Bird Feeder - Terra Cotta
The art glass windows are inspired by a 1903 design sketch by Frank Lloyd Wright for the "Tree of Life" windows found at the Martin House complex in Buffalo, NY.
The feeder is hand built using marine grade plywood and finished with a Benjamin Moore exterior deck stain. Additionally, the roof and feeding platform have a coat of spar urethane for added protection. The laser cut acrylic window inserts are backed with sheets of clear polycarbonate to create the seed hopper. Story card giving background information is included.
300 lb test polyester hang cord.
Dimensions: 7” D x 9.5” W x 12” H.
Holds approximately 4 ½ to 5 cups of seed depending on the blend.
