Oak Park Skylight Tote
Frank Lloyd Wright was ahead of his time, recognizing the impact of humanity on the environment and the importance of living harmoniously with nature, in first home built at the turn of the 20th century. His use of natural lighting, to add beauty but also for practical purposes, can be seen throughout his work. A great example are the skylights in the entrance of his first studio, attached to his home in Oak Park. The dappled light coming through the complex rectilinear design of the skylights conjure images of the sun coming down through a forest canopy, changing in quality with each season. This design has become iconic, and we are proud to share it with you in this pillow.
