The Oculus Automatic Watch
This watch features an abstract depiction of Frank Lloyd Wright’s "December Gifts" design, which was created alongside a series of other covers by Wright for Liberty magazine. Despite their popularity today, the designs were deemed too avant-guarde when initially created and were never actually used. Today, December Gifts, as well as other well-known designs such as Saguaro Forms and Cactus Flowers and May Baskets, have loaned themselves to many different licensed products over the years.
The Oculus Automatic Watch has as a neutral gray patterned dial, as well as a stainless steel case and black leather strap with a three-piece buckle closure. The perfect combination of beauty and utility, the watch features a heartbeat open aperture and glass exhibition case back, offering a look into the automatic movement and a domed mineral crystal.
