Oak Park Home & Studio Playroom Window Art Glass

The Oak Park Home & Studio Playroom Window Art Glass is adapted from Frank Lloyd Wright's home in Oak Park, Illinois. This window is found in the playroom's art glass bay windows. The transparency of the rectangles and squares as well as the abstracted flowers and leaves reflect the real ones outdoors. On this glass panel, enamel colors are individually applied to a single sheet of glass, which is then kiln fired to permanently fuse the enamels to the glass. The glass panel is then framed with a metal came and includes hanging chain and wood stand for desk or table display.
