The Marin County Civic Center campus was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1957, near the end of his long career. The Center is his largest public project of civic structures, consisting of a main Administration Building and adjoining Hall of Justice. Both buildings were constructed after his death under the supervision of Taliesin Associated Architects and completed by 1970. The project fully embodies Wright's ideal of organic architecture- a synthesis of buildings and landscape with the scalloped blue roof reflecting the color of the sky above. In Wright's own words, the structures were planned to “melt into the sunburnt hills… Instead of slicing away the hills with bulldozers, the buildings will bridge the knolls with graceful arches.”
Our mirrors are made with 1/2" thick cherry veneered MDF with mirrored acrylic in the center. This attractive mirror will add character to any room! Measures 23-1/2" in diameter x 1" thick. Includes a keyhole on the back for hanging. All AlaModerna products are made in the USA.
