This is a full-scale reproduction of the Midway Gardens Sprite, the result of collaboration between Frank Lloyd Wright and Alfonso Ianelli. Dozens of these sculptures adorned the walls of the massive Midway Gardens complex in Chicago from 1913-1929.
This hand cast cement garden sculpture was adapted from the drawings found in the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Archives. Beautifully cast in stone, this striking Frank Lloyd Wright Sprite sculpture will last for years in any climate. This dry cast stone has been around for centuries and has proven to be a quality, durable and most attractive alternative to other materials.
